How does the day run at Dibble Bridge Stables?…
The day starts at 7am with morning feeds and our staff arrive at 8.30 ready for action. We start later and finish at 4.30 most days, but without the conventional break in between. The horses are fed again at 4 and later at 11pm. We have a mixture of routine (with feeding) and variety (with work) that seems to keep the horses very happy. Ours hold their condition and form well.
.

.
We feed the very best racing food and chaff from our generous sponsors Topspec (Turbo, Racing balancer & Top chop Alfa) together with sugar beet, whatever additives are required + the all important ad-lib top quality haylage to prevent boredom and the onset of gastric ulcers.
.
.
Turnout is an essential part of life for the horses at Dibble, and they usually go out in 2′s or 3′s and take turns during the day.

.

Our stables are well ventilated and most have a picturesque view! We bed up on deep straw and our well rugged horses always look superb in their coat and appearance.
.
.
Horses that are turned away are not forgotten here, and many recieve haylage and feeds in the field when required to keep up their condition. There are no wet cold horses turned out here in the winter – their well being is essential and all are treated as individuals.
.
.
Basically, Dibble Bridge is probably exactly where your racehorse would choose to live if he or she had the choice!
