There are never quite enough hours in the day with two small children to look after, but every night I will try and update our NEWS PAGE and give you all the entries, decs and any interesting work reports for the week ahead.

NEWS Saturday 31st July
Further news from Ireland....It dosn't look very wet today and unless there is some significant downpours today or tomorrow it is very unlikly that Aggie will take his chance at Galway, there must be no firm in the ground for him, he is such a big horse and he hits the ground hard. If he does run, the top class Irish jockey Andrew Macnamara has been booked, James is unavailable in France and Kyle rides for us at Market Rasen. It would top off a most dissapointing week for us here, but thats horses and racing - its a great leveller and we have been having a great run of form up until now. Both runners here have very solid excuses though, poor Jack finished lame and King clearly missed the break, in a race you have to be very handy, such is the furious pace round this tight track.
Reporting from home, Simon and Sarah being in charge, all horses well, Jess's leg continuing to heal nicely. New horses cantering away (except Call it On who remains on a break further to a winter campaign). Roger runs at market Rasen only if we have some rain, but he is fine.
Back to Paris has a new 50% owner, and we welcome Mark Cooper to our yard - he kicked of to a decent start when Paris ran nicely enough for 4th at Redcar at 11-1, and he will be out again in 3 or 4 weeks, as he has had 3 quick runs. he is fine after this latest spin.
All our staff are doing extra hours due Julie going to Ireland for seven days, and we would like to thank Julie, Sarah, Simon, Jenny, Nicole and new starter Joel for for their hard work this week.
